Main supporters
UGP has been built and sustained through the dāna (generosity) of numerous benefactors. Their contributions have enabled the construction of the main university buildings, student hostels, dining halls, ordination hall, lecture halls, faculty residences and supporting infrastructure on Yankin Hill.
We gratefully acknowledge donors who have sponsored the main building, Ph.D. and M.A. student hostel, registrar and pro‑rector offices, rector’s residence, professor and lecturer buildings, the Peace Dining Hall, the Peace Ordination Hall and campus roads and pathways.
Through these acts of generosity, supporters have contributed not only to physical facilities but also to the long‑term flourishing of Buddhist education and peace studies in Myanmar and beyond.
