A five-level English proficiency pathway from Basic to Advanced.

The Diploma in English Language Program develops practical communication through a clear progression of five three-month levels. Weekend classes integrate listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, creative work, and presentation practice so learners can build confidence step by step.

Learning Journey

Five progressive levels

Each level runs for three months, creating a manageable rhythm of guided learning, practice, review, and assessment before students progress to the next stage.

  1. Basic

    Build essential vocabulary, sentence patterns, and confidence for everyday communication.

  2. Pre-Intermediate

    Extend core language skills through guided reading, writing, listening, and conversation.

  3. Intermediate

    Communicate with greater range and accuracy across practical and academic contexts.

  4. Upper-Intermediate

    Develop independent language use, stronger fluency, and more confident written expression.

  5. Advanced

    Consolidate high-level communication, creative writing, presentation, and public-speaking skills.

Structured learning with consistent weekend study

The program uses the Straightforward textbook series as its core pathway. Classroom activities connect the course material with communication practice, while Saturday and Sunday morning sessions provide a regular study rhythm throughout the diploma cycle.

Assessment

Testing and attendance expectations

  • Students sit for a test at the end of each level.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required to advance to the next level.
  • Progression recognizes both demonstrated learning and consistent participation.
